The year 2024 is an important milestone for Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering as it has contributed more than a decade in the Aviation Industry worldwide. IIAE Pune is symbol of supreme success against all odds and has become the leading AME Institute in the Western Region of India. IIAE was established in the year 2010 Approved by Director General of Civil Aviation (Ministry of Civil Aviation) Government. of India also Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and 1st AME College pan India to get accredited by NAAC.
The education at IIAE pune is an investment that will provide a lifetime value and enable you to fully develop your potential and quality as in today’s world only skills and quality is utmost important. Therefore we aim to provide the knowledge, skills, ability, attitude and beliefs that are essential to develop the force of AME’s who would perfectly fit into demanding and challenging environment of National and International standards.
The icing on the cake of course is that the Institute is recognized by DGCA Govt. of India approved under CAR 147(Basic) in which student are sent to Actual environment practical training on Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Gulf Stream, Hawker Beechcraft aircraft etc. in contracted Aircraft Maintenance Organization( AMO) like Air India , Indamer , AAR Indamer, GMR Aerotech, Star airline etc. Also it caters the need of students for pursuing degree in BSc Aviation affiliated under Pune University(SPPU) in three years as dual course. The combination of this program gives highest academic standards with the latest Aviation Industry development and knowledge.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineers play a crucial role in aviation safety, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft to meet regulatory standards. With a growing demand for air travel, there is an increasing need for qualified AMEs, offering a rewarding career path with competitive salaries and diverse opportunities in airlines, maintenance organizations, and aerospace companies.
